As Basics By B celebrates 7 years, we’re taking a moment to look back on the journey so far, reflecting on the milestones, growth, and achievements along the way.
Over the Years:
2019
Launched Basics By B from home with our very first palette.
2020
Our first ever campaign shoot came to life, alongside the launch of our brush set, still one of our best selling products today. We also introduced Palette 2.
2021
Collaborated with artist Claudia Miranda on the packaging for Palette 3, our first artist collaboration.
2022
Expanded into lip products with the launch of our lip liners, and collaborated with another artist Lu Martin. We also opened our first pop-up store in Martin Place.
2023
Launched Body Glow, lip oil, and mascara. And our Coogee Beach pop-up for Body Glow marked the beginning of what is now one of our most viral products.
2024
A milestone year! purchasing our first warehouse and creating a dedicated beauty studio. We hosted pop-ups in Melbourne and Bondi, launched Jube Tubes, and collaborated with artist Alex Mason on a new palette. Marbella Glow Drops skyrocketed, and we officially launched on Adore Beauty online.
2025
Entered a new era with the launch of our Alter Ego concealer and hosted our first brand trip dedicated to the launch of our skincare. We also launched the Beauty Academy program which is still going strong as we have just concludes our 3rd cohort of aspiring creators. We also expanded into physical Adore Beauty stores, and attended a Billie Eilish concert.
We can't wait to see what the next 7 years brings us, looking forward to the many moments, products launches and achievements to come.
