Brush Guide
Our Luxury Vegan Brush Sets are made from super soft vegan bristles, and we want to help you keep them in perfect condition.
Here are some important DO'S & DON'TS
DO shampoo your brushes every 2-3 weeks.
You don't need a specific brush cleaner, just a supermarket brand shampoo will cleanse them and keep them in great condition.
Add a pea sized amount of shampoo to the palm of your hand, massage the brush into the shampoo, and rinse clean with warm water. Place washed brushes onto a towel to air dry naturally.
DON'T soak your brushes. Please NEVER keep your brushes wet or leave them soaking, doing so will deteriorate the adhesive that holds the bristles in place and can destroy your brushes. Make sure you always let your brushes completely dry after you clean them.
DON'T let brush cleaning sprays or harsh detergents get down into the base of the bristles. If you do use a brush cleaning spray for a quick clean on the go, just wipe the tips of the bristles, don't over-spray so that the product soaks down into the base of the bristles, it can destroy the adhesive.
DON'T over-wash your brushes. Washing them every 2 weeks is plenty.
It can be normal to have to replace your foundation and concealer brush. How often depends on what foundation products you use. Some products with higher oil content will weaken the adhesive that holds the bristles in faster than others.
If you use your foundation and concealer brush everyday it is normal to have to replace it at some point after 12 months. That's why we sell our foundation and concealer brush in a duo, if you need a replacement.
BRUSH GUIDE
Above is a brush guide which gives you an idea of which brush to use for what product. Remember this is just a guide and you can switch up what you use each brush for if you find another use for it!
For example the blush and bronzer brushes can also be used for pressed or loose powders.
Either way you should have all the brushes you need to get your make-up done. Enjoy!
